    Age of Blood?

Anybody playing this great game? I am looking to get some play going and wondering if anyone has adpated the campaign system to include other factions like Saxons or Normans? You could replace raiding with some semi-reliable taxation to give them income. Make a few other mods.

    Anybody done this?

How about Carolingians ? They always seem to have more potential than Normans - after all they had more neighbours (and therefore more enemies). Apart from feudal dues don't forget tithes for the church, but warfare was fairly ...(can't think of the appropriate term)...financially inspired ? for a lot of people. (Bearing in mind that half the armies around were recruited by the prospects of plunder, in some cases as soon as you left your home town)

Sounds good! My group will need to work out the nitty-gritty of taxes, tithese, and such work. But it is inspiring to think about running a full-fledged campaign with these rules.

Hi guys, glad you like the rules.

All sounds very interesting. The idea of having taxation to raise income is a very good one indeed. I can see this working very well. The idea of the Carloingian based campaign is very appealing. Let us know how you get on with any changes you make. Maybe a full blown expansion to the rules is needed...

Is there an online FAQ about this game and the rules?

I have some questions and I dont want to repeat previously asked stuff if it has been covered already.

Love the game, have been tweaking the Campaign rules a little, but my group loves it!
