    Any info/update?

Since my wargaming world went black with the loss of the printed mag, is there any news when the new online mag will be online? Also will the site be updated any time soon??

Please don't let this be the end of what was the best mag out there.

Let´s hope this silence isn´t answering your question.
I miss the mag too, but now I miss the content on the old site as well :8

I'm still holding on to a little hope here, but it's been quiet a long time now.

    Re: Any info/update?

Seeing as no one has replied in over a week, i take it as a bad sign.

    Farewell Wargames Journal.

    You will be missed.

    Re: Any info/update?

You can blame my wife for that... sunshine in Devon got in the way and she extended the holiday.

Lee Lowe did text me about the post. Issue 9 will be out end of the month. I took a good chunk of time off, mainly due to some medical issues, but now the kids are back to school it's full throttle with the free magazine.

I'll try and get some info out next week reference content and will post something back here when I have.

Sorry it's been so quiet... I promise to make alods of noise for the next year!

    Cheers,
    Neil Fawcett

    Re: Any info/update?

With all GW's and Raclkham's problems this year, its good to here that at least this corner of the wargaming world is still kicking!

Hope the medical probs are sorted out.  Looking forward to you being back online again.

    Cheers

    Re: Any info/update?

It would be worth updating the webpage with something, even a coming soon message.

Anyone who doesn't look in the forum will think WJ is long dead now.

    Re: Any info/update?

From the look of things  i don't think we will see anything this year now. they're not even responding to the forum which would have been nice.i thought they went back to a PDF mag to save time and to get it out quicker.oh well, i'll check back in janurary to see if the site's been updated.

    Re: Any info/update?

Just to let anyone who might be listening that I really miss the articles of the old magazine and that I would really like to know what's planned for the future. I was very happy to see Wargames Journal going back to the pdf format but it's been quite some time now with no info. Here's hoping this excellent resource hasn't gone the way of the Dodo.

    Re: Any info/update?

    Hi Guys,

Apologies for not responding sooner. Well the move to Somerset is moving along and we've now got two very large 40' storage lockups housing the magazine's collection of 'toys'. I will personally move down next week and once the office is back up and running Issue 9 will be completed and rolled out. It will also mark my final issue as Editor.

Rich Jones will be taking over from Issue 10 and he'll make a posting about this shortly (I hope!). It's been huge fun, but it's time for WJ to have someone new at the helm. I will be in the background annoying Rich as much as humanly possible.

The web site is about to slide offline to be replaced with the new one, but this won't happen until the chaos of the move is behind us. Moving family and toys has been monumental, although my son tells me it is all OK because he's now got a Treehouse to play in.

    More updates soon.

    Cheers,
    Neil Fawcett
