    Articles for WJ?

What painting and modeling articles would people like to see in Wargames Journal?

Do people like to see a mixture of start to finish miniatures being painted up from different themes and manufacturers?

Do you like to see techniques like my latest how to paint wood?

Let us know what you think so we can look into your request.

    Many thanksSmile [:)]

Personally, I liked your article on wood, found it to be handy.  I also like camo step by step articles.  I dont read alot of other painting articles, but I always like to look at the pictures none the less.  I definately prefer my articles to list the exact colors used, manufacturer, paint name, and numbers.

    Re: Articles for WJ?

I am currently working on writing some modern skirmish scenarios, with any luck, to be printed in WJ.  I wouldnt mind seeing some articles on modern patterns as well, not that I am not happy about the WWII, because I play that as well!

    Re: Articles for WJ?

I am currently playing SOF Warrior with them.  I have written the articles in a format that is very much generic for any skirmish rules, like the Berlin scenario you saw.  I have based them off of Tactical games that the US Marine Corps uses to train tactical decision making skills in their NCO's.  I have 2 scenarios complete, and material to do about a dozen more, maybe a few more.  Hopefully you will end up seeing them in the magazine, I have submitted a proposal to Neil about it.

    Re: Articles for WJ?

Step by step guides are always useful, if only to see how others paint. A lot depends on the figure being painted and wether you like it or not.

The step by step along with materials used, with a reference to how applied, is normally enough.
