The Aquans are fully committed to fight the threat of the Dindrenzi for as long as it takes, and if necessary even invade Dindrenzi space in order to reduce or destroy their support bases. They have full confidence in the Kurak Alliance and have left their more distant territories stripped of defences and logistics.
The Remora Class Escort fulfils a very specific function in the Aquan fleet. It carries a large store of powerful Mines, so that in combination with a larger ship a Squadron of Remoras can sow a significant number of minefields. As part of an Aquan close quarters battle strategy the Remora can cause a lot of damage to enemy ships in the Small and Medium size classes.
The Tsunami Class Heavy Cruiser is an impressive advance in Aquan cruiser capability, designed largely to replace the Storm Class Cruiser rather than support it in mixed squadrons. It has a more aggressive superstructure with enhanced broadsides in all arcs and a higher payload of mines. A full squadron of Tsunamis is therefore a formation to be feared when it manoeuvres through enemy squadrons, able to link fire in several directions at once and lay a pattern of powerful mines for a follow up attack. Not only is the Tsunami tougher than the Storm Class, it also has shields, and is one of the cheapest ships to produce within its class.
